Your Parish Council would like to take this opportunity to offer you a very warm welcome to Farringdon, in the lovely South Downs. Neighbours usually become your first contacts and source of information but please feel free to contact any member of the Parish Council for assistance. Members of the public and villagers are encouraged to attend Farringdon Parish Council Meetings and can speak during the ‘Question Time’ at the  Council Meeting. If you want to speak at the meeting, please let us know what you want to say, by contacting the Parish Clerk. Planning Decisions are made by East Hants District Council and NOT the Parish Council. Farringdon Parish Council only makes a recommendation to the planning department after reviewing the individual planning proposal

The Farringdon & Chawton Village Magazine is delivered free to every household in the village at the end of each month. Copies can also be found at the pubs in the village. The Magazine carries items on both villages, What’s Happening, Church News etc and also local advertisers such as Chimney Sweep, Electrical, Plumbing, Building, Roofing, Gardening Services etc.

Farringdon Village WhatsApp Group - this is open to all residents of Farringdon. There is a also a Farringdon Swapsy WhatsApp Group where you can advertise goods for free / money to the village residents. To join ask a neighbour to introduce you to the WhatsApp Group.

Farringdon Coffee Morning - held on the 1st Saturday of the month at All Saints Church, usually starts at 10am.
